From a series started in 2014  where paintings began with a random application of abstract color. Within the abstraction I tease out figurative elements that are totally unrelated but eventually develop into unexpected narratives.  Here is a short video on the process. This way of working allows me to think less about subject and meaning and more about color, shape and values – leaving the interpretation to the viewer.
