Painted Teapot
This piece is a handbuilt lidded box with feet, handle and spout, hence a teapot. It was matt glazed, painted, high fired with gas in reduction, overglaze painted with earthenware colors, and low fired in oxidation. It’s one of my faves.
About 8 1/2 ” tall.
