Unable to Make Comments?

I have had several people say they are unable to leave comments on my blog. Could you please attempt to make a comment on this post? If it doesn’t work, or asks you to sign up for a Google account in order to leave a comment, I would really appreciate a brief email explaining what you experienced. I’m trying to figure out if it’s a Blogger.com problem or ???

Two thoughts on your comments problem –
1) if pop-ups are being blocked (security settings in one’s browser) you can’t comment until they are enabled.
2)for the non-technically inclined – some may think they can’t comment on your blog when what they can’t do is comment from the email sent by subscription. In order to comment, they have to click a link to a blog entry and let it open a browser window. (The email has no comment option.)
The part that asks you to choose an identity is not user-friendly either – the only real option is “anonymous” unless you have one of the ID’s listed (and most of us don’t.)
